Job summary

GTE Financial is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payment Operations Specialist to manage daily ACH and payroll deduction file processing in adherence with NACHA rules and regulatory requirements. The role also handles domestic/international wires, check-clearing activities, and member support across channels.

The ideal candidate possesses 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment at the Downtown Tampa HQ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Process ACH files, ensure timely processing and authorization.
• Process and verify wire transactions (domestic/international) and check-clearing activities.
• Respond to member inquiries via email, phone, or in person with prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations (NACHA, OFAC, BSA/AML) and ensure compliance.
• Support members with debit/credit card inquiries and staff maintenance requests.
