Job summary

Saving Sight in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Services Associate to support nationwide patient services, manage partner and patient records, and coordinate with physicians and mobile partners. The role emphasizes accurate data, timely communication, and reliable payments processing.

You'll handle day-to-day operations of the Patient Services department, navigate multiple systems, generate reports, and ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience.
• Previous experience with Vital Tears preferred.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and phone communication skills required.
• Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Patient Services department, including tracking shipments, following up with mobile partners, reviewing accounts, and communicating with physicians and external customers.
• Understand the Vital Tears process to navigate the specialist role.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of partner accounts and patient information across systems.
• Follow up with patients, physicians, and facilities to meet patient needs and satisfaction.
• Generate and manage various reports (e.g., commission, partner, and accounting reports).
• De-escalate dissatisfied patients or physicians and coordinate with internal departments.
