Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Department Chairs and Patient Care Services to facilitate internal medical peer review.
• Analyze adverse events and assist regulatory visits; maintain confidentiality of review information.
• Recommend corrective actions to reduce risk with CRICO and hospital teams.
• Review and develop hospital patient safety policies.
• Identify barriers to improvement and work with leaders on solutions.
• Provide education on patient safety to nurses and physicians.
• Support staff orientation and ongoing training in the department.
• Prepare presentations for committees and clinical groups.
• Be available to work during emergencies and regulatory reviews.
