Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Senior Patient Safety and Risk Float Specialist to support hospital-wide safety initiatives across the Community Division. The role acts as a flexible resource, providing expert coverage during absences, peak volumes, or special projects.

You will coordinate with leadership, analyze adverse events, mentor patient safety staff, and advance Equity Informed High Reliability concepts across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of progressive health care experience.
• Experience in a large and complex health care organization preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide interim or surge support for patient safety and risk management.
• Collaborate with leadership to facilitate peer review and analyze serious patient concerns.
• Identify trends from data to improve clinical quality and performance.
• Suggest corrective actions and coordinate with CRICO and hospital improvement teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of peer review and risk management information.
• Participate in educational offerings to stay current on trends.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
