Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with project coordination and process improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Department Chairs and Patient Care Services to facilitate internal medical peer review and analyze serious patient concerns.
• Assist in analysis of adverse events and prepare for regulatory or accreditation visits, maintaining confidentiality.
• Recommend corrective actions to reduce risk and support improvement initiatives with CRICO and hospital teams.
• Assist in reviewing and developing hospital patient safety policies.
• Identify barriers to implementing the improvement plan and work with leaders to overcome them.
• Provide education and support to nurses, physicians, and committees on patient safety and non-punitive reporting.
• Contribute to staff orientation and ongoing training in the department.
• Assist in preparing presentations for committees under supervision and be available during emergencies/regulatory reviews.
