Mass General Brigham is seeking a Senior Patient Safety and Risk Specialist to support the Sr. Manager Patient Safety and Risk Management at Salem Hospital.

You will oversee hospital-wide safety initiatives, mentor staff, and coordinate cross-department projects in an equity-informed, high-reliability environment. The role requires 3–5 years of progressive healthcare experience, strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic change environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive health care experience; experience in a large complex health care organization preferred.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills; able to manage projects and coordinate across departments.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day patient safety event management.
• Analyze adverse events and safety concerns; maintain confidentiality of peer review information.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide patient safety and risk management training using data and trends to promote continuous improvement.
• Mentor and train department staff; participate in safety initiatives and policy development.
