Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to lead clinical system analyses and drive improvements that reduce safety risks. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across HealthPartners to foster a safety culture and coordinate incident reporting, monitoring, and process enhancements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, relevant licensure, and experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, or project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of licensed clinical experience plus one year in project management/quality improvement or patient safety.
  • Licensed in MN or eligible, with valid registrations specified.
  • Residence in MN/WI/IA/ND/SD with ability to work onsite in Saint Paul three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate clinical system analyses to identify gaps and improvements.
  • Plan, implement, and manage patient safety initiatives to reduce risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across HealthPartners system to advance safety culture.
