CorroHealth is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support the Business Office in a hybrid role, combining remote work and two days on-site at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. You will handle patient registration, scheduling, and payments, ensuring a smooth patient experience within HIPAA guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior customer service or medical office experience, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifikationen

• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Healthcare registration or medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and insurance verification processes is a plus.

• Greet and register patients, updating demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments.
• Collect copayments and patient balances.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and direct requests appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
