Job summary

CorroHealth in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, is seeking a Registration Representative for the Business Office to ensure smooth patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and timely collection of payments. You will maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service in a busy revenue-cycle environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, customer service or administrative experience, strong communication and computer skills, and familiarity with EHR systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Healthcare registration or medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and insurance verification processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, updating demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments.
• Collect copayments and patient balances.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and direct requests appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
