Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in revenue cycle or medical office.
• 3 years’ experience in an office clerical setting or customer service environment.
• 1 year direct experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or medical setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Complete revenue cycle training and certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient access staff and daily operations.
• Coordinate scheduling, pre-registration, outpatient and inpatient registration, and financial clearance.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, authorization, and payor notification.
• Monitor performance, provide evaluations, and ensure excellent patient service.
