Job summary

PAX is hiring a hybrid Patient Access & Partner Success Representative to split time between Richardson Psychiatric Associates front-office duties and community-based referral development in Western Pennsylvania.

You will support patients with scheduling, insurance verification, and intake while also cultivating new referral partnerships and maintaining relationships with existing partners to grow services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, patient access, or relationship management is preferred.
• Experience with medical scheduling, insurance verification, referral intake, or front-office workflows is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable conducting outreach and developing new professional relationships.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and follow-up coordination.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect demographic, consent, and registration information.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate provider schedules and reduce cancellations and no-shows.
• Respond to patient questions about scheduling, insurance, and access issues.
• Escalate clinical or operational concerns as needed.
• Answer calls, process referrals, and provide front-office support.
