Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Patient Access Manager (Full-Time) to lead the Access Center in a hybrid role. You will drive accurate registration and appointment scheduling, matching patients with the right provider in the right timeframe, while collaborating with clinical and administrative leadership to optimize service delivery.

The role emphasizes improving access metrics, streamlining processes, and implementing proactive solutions across revenue cycle activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Contact center experience required.
• Five years or greater experience in revenue cycle with emphasis on patient access required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Administrative, Nursing and Physician Leadership to ensure service excellence and access to care.
• Monitor Access Center performance using key metrics such as referral conversion, abandonment rates, call volumes and availability.
• Identify process improvements and technology enhancements.
• Provide leadership with standard reports to monitor performance and maintain consistency in patient access areas.
• Develop action plans with leaders to resolve outpatient access issues and improve outcomes.
• Supervise and coach Access Center Supervisors to ensure appropriate staffing and development opportunities.
• Review provider templates to optimize scheduling efficiency and resource use.
• Conduct rounds with providers and staff to identify satisfaction opportunities and drive improvements.
