Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support the Cura Hospitality team in Farmington, MO and Rolla, MO. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs of elderly residents, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life through tailored care plans.

The position is hybrid, 17 hours weekly at Farmington Presbyterian Manor and 8 hours every other week at Rolla Presbyterian Manor. Sign-on available and benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passes national examination by the CDR or meets AND eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions and quarterly/annual reviews.
• Education to residents on nutrition as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses and aides referencing meals.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition.
• Participate in care conferences with families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in weekly meetings.
• Attend QAPI and quality improvement meetings.
• Perform monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
