Elior Living’s Cura Hospitality team seeks a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to work with elderly residents in Farmington, MO. The role combines in-house nutrition assessments, care planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, in a hybrid schedule with some shifts at Rolla Presbyterian Manor.

You will assess nutritional needs, update care plans, educate residents, complete MDS, and participate in QAPI and kitchen audits. Sign-on bonus of $1,000 and part-time benefits are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (required per earlier text).
• Passed the national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, via the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions, quarterly assessments, annual assessments, tube feedings, weight changes +/-4% in 1 month, wounds, and significant change assessments (hospice/ADLs).
• Nutrition education as needed and requested by residents.
• Create and update care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs to reference at meals and snacks to tailor to resident food preferences.
• Complete MDS (Minimum Data Sheets) for Section K and CAAs.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exam to identify residents who meet malnutrition criteria (ASPEN).
• Care conference meetings with families to update them on changes with the resident.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team during weekly clinical meetings.
• QAPI Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Meetings each quarter.
• Monthly Kitchen Inspections and Meal Service Audits.
