Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join Cura Hospitality in Farmington, MO, with coverage in Rolla, MO. The role focuses on nutrition assessments, care planning, and resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. Hybrid schedule supports 17 hours weekly in Farmington and 8 hours every other week in Rolla.

Qualifications include a nutrition degree, state licensure, and ongoing education. Competitive benefits and a $1,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed the national exam by the CDR or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Nice-to-haves: Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition assessments for admissions, quarterly and annual reviews, tube feedings, weight changes, wounds, and hospice care changes.
• Nutrition education as needed for residents.
• Create and update care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs for meals and snacks.
• Complete MDS and K section documentation.
• Use nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition.
• Attend care conferences with families and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in QAPI and quality improvement meetings.
• Conduct monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.
