Job summary

Elior North America, operating Cura Hospitality in Farmington, MO, seeks a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to support elderly residents. The role is hybrid, totaling 17 hours at Farmington Presbyterian Manor and 8 hours every other week at Rolla Presbyterian Manor.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a benefits package for part-time employees. You will assess nutritional needs, plan interventions, and coordinate with the care team to improve residents’ quality of life while respecting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed the national CDR examination or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition assessments for admissions, quarterly, annual reviews, wounds, or nutrition-related changes.
• Educate residents on nutrition as needed.
• Create and update care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs.
• Complete MDS for Section K and CAAs.
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams to identify malnutrition.
• Attend care conference meetings with families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during weekly clinical meetings.
• Participate in QAPI Quality Improvement Meetings.
• Conduct monthly kitchen inspections and meal service audits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition

Master’s degree in Nutrition
