Job summary

FPC National, a private investment firm in Stamford, CT, seeks an experienced finance and operations professional for a part-time W-2 role 2–3 days per week with seasonal variability. You will report to senior leadership and manage core accounting and operational tasks with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities include AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, vendor coordination, investor reporting support, and maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience, ideally within private funds, investment management, financial services, family offices, or similar

Responsibilities

• Manage company accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly bank reconciliations
• Manage payroll processing and related recordkeeping
• Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers, including HR and benefits providers, insurance carriers, tax accountants, and legal counsel
• Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records that meet institutional standards
• Support investor financial reporting and respond to investor-related inquiries in coordination with third-party administrators
• Manage expense reimbursements and provide light administrative and operational support to senior leadership
