This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial processes, managing reporting requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making through budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background with over 10 years of experience, preferably including controller-level responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including Controller-level responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate tax compliance.
Proficiency with accounting software and FP&A tools (experience with Datarails a plus).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity.
Flexible schedule (approximately 20 hours per week).
Responsibilities
Oversee preparation of financial statements in coordination with third-party bookkeepers.
Manage annual tax filings in collaboration with external CPAs.
Handle occasional city/state filings and tax payments.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and pro forma P&L statements.
Develop and maintain revenue reporting and advisor payout calculations.
Coordinate billing processes and ensure timely collections.
Manage corporate entity filings and servicer payments; ensure compliance with regulations.
Oversee payroll processing and 401(k) administration.
Leverage FP&A tools to create new reporting and analytics.
Provide insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
