Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our Stamford team on a part-time basis. You will manage the end-to-end payroll process, primarily remote, with a hybrid in Stamford, CT schedule.

You will collaborate with finance leadership and contribute to audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, strong ADP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and solid understanding of federal and Connecticut payroll rules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and payroll workflows.
• Knowledge of federal and Connecticut payroll, tax, wage, and leave regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience reconciling payroll reports and data.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP from timekeeping through reporting.
• Review, reconcile, and resolve payroll discrepancies, timecards, and employee pay changes.
• Maintain employee payroll records, tax withholdings, deductions, and compliance requirements.
• Support payroll reporting, audits, W-2 processing, and labor cost allocations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and support onboarding/offboarding activities.
