Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role involves assessing patients’ nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and supporting quality of life goals.

The position is 16–20 hours per week, with 1–1.5 days on-site and 1 day remote, covering NRMC and the Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home. Applicants should hold a nutrition degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s preferred), be licensed or eligible, and meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years as per CDR requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to health care teams and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition
• Participate in development, review, and improvement of quality assurance programs
