Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Natchitoches, LA. You will identify and assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and work to improve quality of life in line with each resident’s goals.

This hybrid role is scheduled for 16-20 hours per week, with 1–1.5 on-site days and 1 remote day, covering NRMC and the Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets Academy requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
