Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Louisiana. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and enhancing patients' quality of life in collaboration with the care team.

The position is 16–20 hours weekly, with 1–1.5 onsite days and 1 remote day, covering NRMC and Courtyard of Natchitoches Nursing Home. Strong nutrition background required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024)
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed a national examination or meets eligibility requirements
• Completes 75 hours of CE every five years
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement programs.
