Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in LA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and enhancing quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Scheduled 16-20 hours per week, with 1-1.5 onsite days and 1 remote day, covering NRMC and the connected Courtyard nursing home.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Nice-to-haves: Healthcare or long-term care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs.
