Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Louisiana. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote responsibilities, with 16-20 hours weekly.

The RD will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop care plans in line with Academy standards, and collaborate with dining services and care teams to improve quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field is required.
• Pass national exam by CDR or meet Academy requirements for eligibility.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years (CDR standards).
• Licensed or certified as per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
