Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Paralegal – Leveraged Finance in New York to support attorneys with transaction documents, UCC filings, closing books, and data room management. This hybrid role is located in our New York office and involves coordinating with counsel, clients, and vendors.

The candidate should have strong Word/Excel skills and experience with Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal tools, plus excellent communication and organization to handle multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Word and Excel with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills to interact with clients and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drafts of legal documents and correspondence for attorney review.
• Coordinate efforts between attorneys, clients, and vendors; file UCC Financing Statements.
• Organize and file a variety of legal documents for transactions and closing books.
• Assist with signature packets via DocuSign and SimplyAgree; maintain minute books.
