Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Paralegal - Corporate to support attorneys with a range of entity-related tasks, document drafting, and coordinating between clients and counsel. The role involves preparing filings, organizing closing books, and assisting with entity formations across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate has strong Word/Excel/Outlook skills and experience with Relativity, LexisNexis, and Westlaw, plus excellent communication and organizational abilities in a fast-paced, hybrid work

Qualifications

Must have strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar application.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, paralegals, attorneys and clients.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to handle large volumes of work.
Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys in your home office and in offices across the firm.
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Performs and maintains capitalization tables and stock ledgers.
Prepares drafts and files Section 16 filings and closing documents.
Organizes and files corporate documents for transactions and ongoing reports.
Assists with formation of entities such as Corporations, LLCs, and 501(c)(3).
Prepares UCC searches and filings and manages closing books.
Maintains minute books and data rooms; supports closing checklists and due diligence.
Supports with stock issuances, transfers, and option grants in corporate software.
Performs additional duties and supports attorneys across offices.
