Job summary

Carlile is seeking an OS&D Coordinator in Anchorage, AK to support the Operations team by researching and resolving freight issues with customers, shippers, and carriers. The role requires 2–4 years of admin experience in transportation and familiarity with Truck Mate or Freight Snap software.

You will monitor freight status, prepare OS&D paperwork, and maintain records. This position blends office and dock duties in a fast-paced environment with weather exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2-4 years administrative experience in a multi-modal transportation field.
• 6 months forklift experience preferred; training provided.
• 1+ year experience with transportation software; Truck Mate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations by resolving OS&D freight issues through research and communication with customers, shippers and carriers.
• Operate the TM Command Center to monitor missing or misdirected freight and locate freight using manifests and documents.
• Prepare paperwork for OS&D freight, refusals, and claims and communicate actions to relevant parties.
• Maintain OS&D records and reports; coordinate with other terminal OS&D coordinators.
• Handle OS&D claims and field customer service calls for General Freight and Home Depot Freight.
• Cross-train with other operations staff to cover duties during PTO or peak hours.
