Job summary

Carlile in Anchorage, AK is seeking an OS&D Coordinator to support the Operations team by resolving overages, shortages and damaged freight through research and communication with customers, shippers and carriers. The role uses the TM Command Center and various documents to locate freight and prepare paperwork.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, 2–4 years admin experience in transportation, forklift experience preferred, and familiarity with Truck Mate/Freight Snap.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years administrative experience in a multi-modal transportation related field.
• 6 months forklift experience preferred (will train).
• Minimum 1 year experience using transportation industry software, Truck Mate preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams.
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Understand Carlile data entry and shipping processes.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of shipping information.

Responsibilities

• Resolve OS&D freight issues through research and communication with customers, shippers and carriers.
• Monitor OS&D using TM Command Center and locate missing or misdirected freight.
• Prepare all OS&D paperwork, freight refusals, and claims with the correct parties.
• Maintain OS&D records and develop/update OS&D reports.
• Coordinate with terminal OS&D Coordinators to avoid repetitive issues.
• Handle OS&D claims and customer service calls for both General Freight and Home Depot Freight.
• Cross-train with operations staff to cover duties during PTO, illness, or peak hours.
