Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher in Anchorage, AK to coordinate freight pickup and delivery across local and regional networks, serving as a crucial link among drivers, customers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure timely service and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of dispatch experience in trucking or intermodal logistics, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry platforms such as eModal or UIIA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years dispatch experience in trucking, transportation, or intermodal logistics.
• Working knowledge of CBP, FMCSA and applicable transportation regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with terminal, chassis provider, ocean carrier, eModal, and/or UIIA systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery of freight across local and regional networks.
• Monitor shipment status, schedule appointments and assign loads.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and proactive problem solving to support operations.
• Serve as main point of contact for customers and internal teams.
