Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a professional to support the Order Governance and Controls function. This role focuses on governance of work orders, driving process improvements, and providing tools for end-to-end order management within the PG&E service territory.

The position involves coordinating with business partners, delivering trainings, and developing new resources to reduce backlog and cycle times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License or equivalent on day one of hire.
• Experience in a utility or regulatory industry (Desired).
• Experience with SAP (Desired).
• Analysis for Office, PowerApps (Desired).
• Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills (Desired).
• Organizational skills; ability to multitask (Desired).
• Verbal and written communication (Desired).
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word (Desired).
• Public speaking and presentation abilities (Desired).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Has basic understanding of department and/or line of business function and responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of internal business partner functions and tools and resources used to perform job duties.
• Assists others using established processes, practices and procedures as directed.
• Communicates with peers within and outside of the department, providing information or exchanging data.
• Assigned to handle the standard inquiries and reactive tasks, seeking guidance and advice from peers and Supervisor.
• Majority of work will be performed in PG&E office setting with some travel for meetings and trainings. Travel required 10% of the time.
