PG&E is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to extract operations data for analysis and leadership support. The role maintains data tools and databases, using data from PG&E systems to enhance analytics for the broader team.

You will identify gaps in data requirements, develop automated routines, and deliver fast, accurate responses to leadership inquiries. This is a hybrid position across multiple CA locations.

Formación

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, CS, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of related work experience.
• Familiarity with utility operations.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Apps.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel/Access (complex formulas, graphing, VBA).
• Skilled writing SQL queries using Oracle/BO.
• Experience in UNIX shell programming (csh, awk, sed, vi).
• Knowledge of base-SAS and programming languages such as Visual Basic, Perl, C.
• Able to analyze and interpret data and communicate findings.

Responsabilidades

• Manage standard, routine data analysis projects from request to results within budget and on-time.
• Create automated data routines for reporting and data delivery.
• Manage data extracts and list pulls to support operational analysis.
• Analyze data using statistical tools to develop ad hoc reports and trends.
• Develop clear, actionable data analyses for clients.
