Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to extract and analyze operations data for leadership support and ad hoc requests. You will maintain and enhance operational metric databases, develop data tools, and ensure fast, accurate responses to inquiries.

The role supports Substation Operations & System Inspections, with hybrid work from the Oakland area and travel to HQs as needed.

Formación

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6 years of related work experience.
• Experience designing data pipelines and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and PowerBI.

Responsabilidades

• Manages complex data analysis projects with limited supervision from initial request to results.
• Designs data analyses to meet business objectives and communicates findings clearly.
• Creates automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery.
• Develops data pipelines and dashboards to track organizational performance.
• Acts as team lead and provides direction to less experienced staff.
• Interfaces with Directors and Managers to influence decisions.
