Job summary

Lilly Medicine Foundry Operations in Lebanon, IN (with pre-startup in Indianapolis) seeks a Manufacturing Lead Operator to support startup activities and become an on-the-floor expert for API production. This role emphasizes safety-first, quality-always leadership while coordinating diverse unit operations.

You will lead troubleshooting, ensure adherence to batch records and SOPs, and support cross-functional collaboration to meet production plans while prioritizing safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 3+ years of directly applicable manufacturing experience; GMP and/or chemical processing preferred.
• 2 years of direct leadership/supervisory experience required; API experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production plans and ensure safety, quality, and environmental adherence.
• Operate processes and equipment per batch records, user manuals, design parameters, SOPs to meet production schedule.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership and prioritization of resources during shifts; communicate during passovers and huddles.
• Promote safety culture, proper housekeeping, and adherence to cGMP and regulatory requirements.
