Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking an Operations Finance Manager to join our finance team, reporting to the Director of Operations Finance. The role partners with site leaders to deliver high-level reporting, analytics, and cost-improvement opportunities to support growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 6–9+ years FP&A, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with budgeting; logistics experience is a major plus. Hybrid schedule in Des Plaines, IL is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
• 6–9+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including budgeting processes.
• Direct experience working with operations teams; logistics/supply chain experience is a major plus.
• Advanced understanding and use of Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools (Gemini/Claude). SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; build complex models and variance reports for key accounts.
• Own governance, optimization, and accuracy of budget and forecast templates across warehousing, transportation, and freight forwarding lines.
• Participate in monthly business reviews and perform rigorous variance analyses against budgets, forecasts, and baselines.
• Serve as a financial partner to facility operators, coaching site leaders on cost controls.
• Partner with operations, accounting, and finance teams to understand cost drivers and logistics trends.
• Identify financial issues and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
