Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking an Operations Accountant (SGL15) for a hybrid role based in our Arkansas, Maine, Missouri, or Oklahoma offices. You will apply GAAP, record financial information, and prepare reports for Summit and subsidiaries.

You will analyze journal entries, support month-end closes, coordinate with FP&A, and assist audits while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required.
• Experience with regulated utilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and complete standard and complex journal entries for month-end close (payroll and expenses).
• Prepare entries by deadlines per close calendar.
• Perform trend analysis on assigned accounts.
