Job summary

Amerita Providence, RI is seeking a Nursing Coordinator Supervisor to oversee nursing coordinators and perform full nursing coordinator duties. The role includes scheduling, generating delivery tickets for billing, POT submission, and ensuring state-regulated processes, while maintaining a personal caseload and providing guidance and training to the team.

The position offers hybrid work with on-site training at pharmacies and a schedule of 8am–6pm with a WE rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing scheduling experience in home care or home infusion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across management levels.
• Leadership and decision-making abilities with resourcefulness.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and support to nursing coordinators for scheduling accuracy and policy compliance.
• Perform all nursing coordinator functions including patient scheduling and delivery tickets.
• Monitor workflow queues, schedules, and clinician visit logs for timeliness and accuracy.
• Assist in training new nursing coordinators and provide coaching.
• Escalate performance or compliance issues to the Regional Director of Nursing as needed.
• Ensure POTs and delivery tickets are submitted within required time frames.
• Collaborate with nurse managers and pharmacy operations to resolve issues.
• Handle escalations and ensure timely, accurate nursing coordinator information.
• Maintain effective communication with coordinators, nurse managers, regional directors, and pharmacy staff.
