Job summary

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader in providing outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organizations. We seek a dedicated Controller to serve multiple nonprofit clients, guiding their accounting and financial reporting.

This role offers a hybrid work environment, a 35-hour work week for full-time, competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage and professional development. CPA or bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-7+ years accounting experience.
• Experience with remote environment preferred.
• Ability to manage and lead multiple clients, work independently, and be timely.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Bilingual-English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients.
• Transform nonprofit client financial departments to meet their mission.
• Financial reporting for management and Board decision-making.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies.
• Transactional activities including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Analysis and data visualization, budgeting and forecasting.
• Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting.
• Prepare for and manage annual audit.
• Client and staff training opportunities.
