Job summary

WIN Technology is hiring a Network Systems Technician to bolster our Network Management Department. The role focuses on maintaining routers/switches, servers and data center services, using various monitoring tools to diagnose issues and manage tickets. The technician reports to the Network Systems Shift Manager.

You will support email, DHCP, DNS, authentication, circuits turn-ups and security checks while ensuring high availability and performance across enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum an Associate’s Degree or 3 years related experience.
• Ability to provide superior customer service in a professional manner.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with rotation and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer enterprise-grade routers/switches, SONET/DWDM/IP equipment and servers.
• Use internal monitoring to diagnose and troubleshoot network and server problems; manage support tickets.
• Notify customers promptly about outages and perform outage management and repair.
• Assist with SOPs, equipment installation and cabling; secure cabinets.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades of networking equipment; communicate maintenance events.
