Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Network Engineer to administer and support our global data communications network. This role designs, develops and optimizes network systems, ensuring designs are documented and supportable.

The position blends on-site collaboration at our Mason, Michigan office with up to two days of remote work in a hybrid schedule. You will lead engineering, configuration, deployment and maintenance across Azure, Campus, WAN/SD-WAN and Datacenter LAN while aligning with security and

Qualifications

• Experience with OSPF/EIGRP/Spanning Tree protocols.
• Experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience with Cloud (Azure, AWS) networking, Routing and Switching, Security, Wireless, Data Center, SD-WAN.
• Experience implementing and operating a security architecture that secures all corporate enterprise network edges (both ingress and egress).
• Experience creating and maintaining network topology, logical flow and other required documentation with Visio or equivalent tool.
• Strong understanding of network QoS methods, markings and mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated experience conducting research and resolving issues across a wide range of networking, telephony, video, security, and wireless issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead project implementations and ensure successful deployment.
• Ensure security compliance across networks and devices.
