Job summary

Requires 5+ years in network security, a BS in CS or related field, and Cisco/Firewall expertise. Hybrid schedule—minimum three onsite days with occasional on-call nights/weekends; competitive benefits and discretionary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a network security engineer, preferably in banking/financial services
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Familiar with complexity and able to work through complex challenges
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and protocols
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and secure network design

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the bank's third-party network security perimeter
• Integrate security solutions and ensure their sound operation
• Analyze and optimize firewall rulesets with data center operator and application owners
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with other departments on security-related projects
• Provide technical support during troubleshooting
• Stay up to date with developments in peer teams and advise network teams
