Job summary

RSM US LLP in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer with CCNP Security certification to join our enterprise network security team. You will lead the design and deployment of secure network solutions, and serve as a hands-on technical leader for complex projects.

You will work with Cisco technologies such as Secure Firewall, ISE, Meraki, and SD-WAN, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients to align security architectures with business goals.

Qualifications

• Active CCNP Security certification.
• 5+ years of enterprise network and security design/implementation experience.
• Deep firewall design and deployment knowledge.
• Strong routing and switching basics; experience with Cisco platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and document end-to-end network security solutions including NGFW, SD-WAN, segmentation, secure remote access, and SASE frameworks.
• Lead deployment and integration of Cisco security solutions (Secure Firewall, Secure Access, Umbrella, ISE, Meraki).
• Assess client environments to identify security gaps and provide remediation recommendations.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for critical incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Engage with stakeholders to align security architectures with business goals and deliver workshops and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and managed services teams for holistic solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practices.
