Steiner Electric in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Network Operations Manager to oversee the daily performance, availability, security, and reliability of our network infrastructure.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage WAN/LAN, support cyber threat responses, and drive business continuity planning and infrastructure growth.

This office-based role offers a hybrid schedule with remote work from home and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience managing network infrastructure.
• Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, data centers and VOIP architectures.
• Experience developing failover strategies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery plans.
• Experience selecting and implementing cyber threat prevention solutions.
• Experience managing on‑premise and cloud data centers, WANs and LANs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily performance, availability, security and reliability of network infrastructure.
• Own the business continuity and cyber threat plan; recommend infra changes to support growth.
• Lead day-to-day network issues with IT and third‑party teams.
• Support cyber threat responses and SOC alerts with HelpDesk.
• Manage WAN/LANs and hardware, software and service renewals.
• Develop a 3‑year infrastructure strategy for data centers.
