Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in networking.
• Experience in routing, switching, wireless, or VoIP with independent configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network security principles including segmentation and access control.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex network issues with minimal supervision and on-call rotation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative and adaptable working style in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Secure design, implementation, and operation of Dartmouth’s campus network on Hanover campus and remote locations.
• Maintain network performance, monitoring systems, and cloud-based telephony configurations.
• Respond to incidents and provide escalation support for Network Technicians.
• Architect and implement network solutions in collaboration with IT groups.
• Lead and support on-call rotation and incident response, including security incidents.
