Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience supporting production networks, or equivalent
• Experience in at least one area: routing/switching, wireless, or VoIP, including configuration and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of network security principles: segmentation, access control, secure configuration practices
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex network issues with minimal supervision, including on-call rotation
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including explaining designs, issues, and changes to technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative and adaptable working style with initiative and prioritization in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Secure design, implementation, and operation of the campus network
• Maintain wired and wireless components on the Hanover campus
• Automate network tasks and monitoring systems
• Respond to incidents and provide escalation for Network Technicians
• Perform upgrades and remediate vulnerabilities; participate in on-call rotation
• Collaborate with IT teams for projects in new buildings and renovations
• Advance security posture and threat response with Information Security
