Job summary

Washington Penn is seeking a Network Engineer to ensure availability, performance, and security of our global enterprise network. You will design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls, while monitoring health and proactively tuning for reliability.

Responsibilities include leading infrastructure projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with global teams to support business operations and disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or Engineering.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification required.
• Six years of hands-on network troubleshooting in multi-site environments.
• Four+ years with Cisco networking platforms.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols and WAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the global enterprise network.
• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Monitor network health and performance metrics; tune environment for throughput.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and escalate when needed.
• Lead infrastructure projects and participate in modernization efforts.
