Job summary
Eccalon, LLC in Detroit, MI is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure for on‑premises and cloud environments.
You will ensure high availability, performance, and security across LAN/WAN, manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, and collaborate with systems, cloud, security, and application teams. A 3+ year track record and hands-on troubleshooting are required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of network engineering or administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
- Experience with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba).
- Hands-on troubleshooting of complex network issues.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of SD-WAN, zero-trust networking, or network automation.
