Job summary

Bandwidth is seeking a Network Engineer to support and optimize our enterprise network across LAN/WAN, cloud integrations, and on-premises systems in a fast-paced environment. You will analyze performance, develop automated monitoring, work with AWS/Azure, and coordinate with vendors to maintain critical infrastructure, security, and resilience across our global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in network engineering, focusing on traditional and cloud-integrated environments.
• Proficiency in routing protocols, network troubleshooting, and wireless deployments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network performance and resolve issues related to LAN/WAN, routing, switching.
• Compose automated solutions for network monitoring and configuration using scripting and APIs (Python, Bash, Rest, NETCONF).
• Develop and deploy SaaS applications, including Cisco DNA, ISE, and Firepower Management Center.
• Drive troubleshooting efforts for hybrid environments integrating AWS, Azure, and on-premises networks.
• Establish reliable connections with ISPs to resolve WAN-related issues.
• Evaluate and implement wireless network improvements for enhanced connectivity.
• Integrate SDN tools to support scalable operations.
• Prepare detailed documentation for network configurations, incident resolutions, and procedures.
