Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a senior networking engineer to plan, design, and support our enterprise networking and communications infrastructure. You will work on security, performance, availability and recoverability of network systems, including firewalls, load balancers, NAC, VPN and wireless networks.

The role involves leading architecture developments, coordinating remote site installations, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in networking hardware/software installation and support.
• Strong experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, switches.
• Familiarity with VOIP technologies desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve remote access solutions (Cisco ASA, F5 BigIP, NAC, VPN) and wireless networks.
• Design and implement enterprise networking and communications infrastructure.
• Provide expert level support for network hardware/software; document procedures.
• Analyze network/server/storage; recommend upgrades and perform performance testing.
• Coordinate wiring at remote sites and select data broadband options.
