The Hartford is seeking a Software Engineer for the Alternatives Investment IT team in Hartford, CT. You will work on visible, business-critical systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, incorporating AI into the SDLC.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT, 4-5+ years with .NET/C# and SQL, strong QA and communication skills, and the ability to translate requirements into solid software modules. Hybrid schedule in-office and remote is offered.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain understanding of HIMCO's Alternatives investment strategies and processes.
• Participate in assignments, clarify requirements, and perform development, maintenance and support.
• Engage in planning with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements.
• Translate business/technical requirements into application modules.
• Apply disciplined software development processes and QA principles.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and handle support.
