Job summary

Serco is seeking a Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Maritime in Norfolk, VA, offering a hybrid work arrangement. The role supports HM&E training system acquisition, lifecycle management, and planning for Navy surface training systems.

Candidate will bring Navy acquisition/PM experience, engineering background, and DoD clearance to drive program success. The position emphasizes cross‑functional coordination, briefing development, and budget forecasting to enable effective training system

Qualifications

US Citizenship
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5 years of relevant experience
1 year Navy Acquisition/Program Management experience
Navy operational/training experience
Navy surface ship engineering experience (senior enlisted or junior officer)
Expert level MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Ability to travel up to 10%
Educational requirements may be adjusted/waived for 8+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Provide project management and training system acquisition support for HM&E training systems stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project status briefs, trackers, and other PM tools.
Support Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) processes for HM&E training systems.
Coordinate with stakeholders to discuss training requirements and action items.
Assist in financial planning and budget forecasts for system acquisition and sustainment.
Develop and update Senior Level PowerPoint briefings.
